About Sacred Recovery
Welcome to Sacred Recovery. Discover our story, our mission, and what makes our sober living environment a unique place for healing and growth.

Our Journey, Our Passion
I'm Brad — a Sonoma County native who has been through the darkest parts of addiction and came out the other side. I know what it feels like to doubt yourself so deeply that hope feels like something that belongs to other people. But I also know what it feels like when something shifts. My partner Katelin and I built Sacred Recovery because we've walked this road ourselves. We're not outsiders looking in. We get it. Every person who walks through our doors deserves more than just a bed — they deserve someone in their corner who actually understands. That's why we built Sacred Recovery.

A Unique Approach to Recovery
Sacred Recovery is different because it was built by people who have actually lived it. Most sober living homes offer a bed, house rules, and not much else. Sacred Recovery goes further. From day one, every resident sets real goals and gets a personalized step-by-step plan to achieve them — using AI tools most people in recovery have never had access to before. Every morning starts with a gratitude circle as a community. That daily practice shifts something in a person over time. We welcome couples in recovery — something most sober living homes won't do. We respect all spiritual paths and all recovery journeys. And we are rooted in the natural beauty of Lake County — using the land, Clear Lake, and the surrounding community as part of the healing environment. What you won't find at Sacred Recovery is someone just collecting rent. Every person here matters. Every goal matters. We are not just a place to stay sober. We are a place to figure out who you are and start becoming that person.
"Every person has the capacity to change. No matter where you've been or what you've been through — transformation is possible. We've lived it ourselves."
Sacred Recovery Core Beliefs
Our Guiding Principles
At Sacred Recovery, our core beliefs are simple. Every person has the capacity to change. No matter where you've been or what you've been through — transformation is possible. We've lived it ourselves. We believe recovery is not one size fits all. We welcome all spiritual beliefs, all backgrounds, and all pathways to sobriety. We are not here to tell you how to believe — we are here to support who you are becoming. We believe structure creates freedom. Daily gratitude, clear goals, employment, and accountability aren't restrictions — they're the foundation that allows real growth to happen. We believe in real human connection. Not clinical distance. Not judgment. Just genuine people walking alongside each other through one of the hardest things a person can do. And we believe in hope — not as a feeling but as a decision. The decision to show up, do the work, and trust that something better is waiting on the other side. Sacred Recovery is built on these beliefs every single day.
